Jack

My brother's son is coming out to visit today. His name is Jack and he is 6. He is about the cutest little 6 years old. He comes with such attitude, grouchiness, cute little high voice, and love for Denver that I just can't ever resist him. I am always joking that Heavenly Father knew that one mom couldn't handle both Zane and Jack as twins, so he seperated them but kept them in the same family. They are so much alike.
He just fits into my family as one of my own.
I just love him.
(Jack and Zane are the two in the middle. Jack is the blond.).

Of Course....

My kids have been suffering with this virus that seems to be affecting many in Colorado. Boston's even turned into Bronchitis. But after 10 days of taking care of coughs, sniffles, and sneezes, and being a chair it finally caught up with me. I woke up this morning with no voice, plugged ears and a cough.
Many years ago, thanks to my sister Molly, my family adopted a phrase. Any time anyone is sick and they look misserable we say they have "Molly Face". Adam started that many years ago when we first started dating. Thanks to both of them, I have "Molly Face" today. I have spent most of the day in bed and sleeping as much as I can.
I am just anxious for Adam to get in town and take care of me.

My Lilly

Lilly and I were digging through the clearance toys at Wal-mart today. She found a vacuum set that she just fell in love with and told me she could vacuum like me. It was so sweet and she is incredibly hard to resist so I bought it.
We came home and she couldn't wait for me to put it together. Then she proceeded to clean everything to the best ability of a 3 year old. She also had to do it while carrying her favorite doll. It is amazing all the things they pick up while watching us. She never misses anything.
It is actually 9 at night right now and she is still vacuuming.

Lilly was so tired....

Lilly was so tired the other day.

We had spent some time at the zoo and it had worn her out.

She sure loves Zane.

One of my favorite websites...

I visit this website daily. It always puts a smile on my face.
As many of you know I am a huge animal lover. Whether is be in my own home, my friends pets, the wild or the zoo.
I lost my baby a few months ago. She was only 7 years old, but had brought me and my family so much joy. After a few days of agony we decided we needed another dog in the house. We were just so lonely. We miss our sweet Belle Belle!

We found our new baby girl. A sweetie named Lulu. She is so much fun, although I had forgotten how much work a puppy is especially in the dead of winter. I can always count on Lulu for a smile. Her little tongue hangs out the side of her mouth and she looks at you with her big eyes and wags her curly tail and you can't resist. We call her LuluKachoo and it just fits her. She is just a silly little dog that brings my family so much joy.

My Best Friend

Yesterday as I picked up my mail I received a very familiar envelope and card inside. I had mailed my friend a card earlier that day and in the mixup of it all I was assuming I had addressed the card to myself and proceeded to waste a stamp mailing it to myself. But to my genuine suprise she had mailed the exact same card to me that I had mailed to her earlier that morning. It put such a smile on my face and reminded me how much we are forever friends with great minds.

Or in otherwords, Sisters of the Heart.
