Lilly

Lilly has a new favorite movie. Due to the fact that this is our 16th day above 90 degrees, we spend a lot of time hiding in the house playing. We have the dress up clothes out, the kitchen toys out, the huge rubbermaid full of stuffed animals out, and the movie Annie. I didn't realize she hadn't seen it before, and now she has seen it around 12 times. She quotes the movie, sings the songs, and does the dances. We got up this morning at 7 and that is the first thing she asked for. It is a cute movie, but not as cute by the 12th time.

My neighbors...

I have the best neighbors. We just moved here 3 months ago and we already have great friends right here. We are truly been blessed to live by people so nice. There is a huge range of ages and kids and they all mold together so well.
We had a little get together for the two girls (including Lilly) who had birthdays in the last few weeks. It was so much fun. They blew bubbles, ate cake, wrestled in the lawn, attacked the older boys, and generally just enjoyed eveyones company. It was a really fun evening and great adult conversation.

Grandpa and the Rock

Grandpa was here a week or so ago and took the boys to hike the rock. They had a great time and were sufficiently worn out when they returned.

Adam is so lucky.

Adam is able to multi task while at work. He is able to work and have his hair professionally taken care of at the same time. Lilly thanks so much for all your help.

Lilly turned 4!

Lilly woke up on July 8th and held up her fingers announcing she was finally this many. It was so cute. She couldn't wait to open presents so we did it first thing while she sat on the kitchen table. Camera from Nana and Papa

new kitchen dishes from Boston, Zane, and Mary

clothes for what? (she opened them out of order) Her new doll! That is what the clothes are for.

Lilly's cake with lots of help making it from Zane and Mary and Lilly. We got the idea from a friends blog, but it looks nothing like hers. I think I had too much help.
Mary and Lilly had to be twins. Don't they look so cute...

Lilly with her new doll Sophia.
We went to Red Robin for dinner that evening so they could sing Happy Birthday to her. She was so shy when they came around. We couldn't get her to stand up or let us get a picture of her smiling.
I can't believe how old she is. It seems like just yesterday. Adam and I couldn't decide for the longest time if we wanted to have one more child. We had two boys and a girl and thought we were settled. But I can't imagine my life without my little sidekick. She is the sweetest little girl with such a strong spirit and determination. She is very headstrong and loves her family like no other. All the kids are so good with her and I am so glad we decided to add her to our family.
Happy Birthday Lilly!

The Zoo

Our day at the zoo was a blast. It rained the whole first half that we were there, but it was so much fun. We all wore bright yellow panchos, at least those of us who were not embarrassed by them and just decided that we didn't might the slightly frizzy hair and damp toes. We actually did the whole zoo which we rarely do because of the size. It was so fun, but we were all so tired, but we had dried out, and we can't wait to return.

Lilly's new favorite animal. We added t to her collection. It is the peacock.

Just Cuz'

This picture cracks me up so I just had to share it. It is so Mary.

Zane and Lilly watching tv. I thought it was so cute. I had to get a picture before they moved.

Saturday, July 5th

On Saturday, July 5th, 2008, Mary was baptized. It was such a special day. I can't believe she is 8. My parents, Adam's parents, my brother and his family were all able to attend as well as some friends from Colorado. It was such a wonderful program. She had been nervous for a while asking everyone why you had to go completely underwater. She is so funny because at the pool she is just a fish. She has no fear of the water. Adam's and my mother both spoke and did a fabulous job. Then Adam was able to baptize her and Bill was able to confirm her. Such a wonderful blessing for her to have her Grandfather confirm her. She looked beautiful in her white dress. She is s excited to be a member of the church. I am so proud of her.

We also had a bonus that day. Boston was ordained that day also with his grandparents there to participate. It was wonderful to watch him pass he sacrement the next day at church.

My kids are getting so old. I can't believe it.

I am so excited for what the world has in store for them.

4th of July

Our 4th of July was spent getting ready for our company to arrive, shopping for the last few groceries at Walmart with all the hoards of people, and swimming. That night we went swimming, picked up pizza, and did fireworks out front. Such a nice day.
