Mary's Talent Show

Mary performed her floor routine in her Elementary School Talent Show the other night.

She did so well. It was great practice with competition season coming up.This is what I get when I ask her to pose for the camera.

She was way excited to have make up on also. She is trying to grow up so fast.

Mary's New Bike

Mary is so proud of her new bike and of course the helmet has a monkey on it. All the kids joined in riding their bikes even though it was sprinkling a little bit.

Mary turns 9

Mary woke up on her birthday to a beautiful candy bouquet that her aunt had made her and her fun cards from both of her Grandparents. Okay, so the candy was a lot first thing in the morning, but I have to admit I had a Reese's for breakfast.Tanya and I put together a Luau party for her. She spent the morning out picking her bike with her Dad. She spent two hours at gymnastics and then home for a party. We had the house decorated and lots of yummy, yummy food.Mary loves Monkeys! Mary's steak and shrimp dinner with salad, rolls, and yummy sprite with cherry ice cubes.

All of Mary's favorite, especially the shrimp.Mary waiting for Zane to light the candles so she can blow them out. Just so you know, she blew out all 9 one at a time. It took a while.

She said her bum was very sore at the end. They offered her ice. It is such a great bunch of girls and adults for her to have in her life. I am grateful for them.

Zane's school choir sang at Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the local high school graduation.

The Girls during Father and Sons

While the boys are gone last evening, the girls partied. We went to Red Robin for dinner, picked up movies, ate ice cream at Coldstone, and wandered around Target. Perfect girls evening. We missed the boys but had a good times ourselves and we stayed dry, didn't sleep on the floor, and had working toilets. My kind of night.
