Enjoying the Snow

These photos were taken in the empty lot next to our house. It is the perfect sledding hill and we will miss it terribly when they decide to build a house there. The snow was melting quickly, but there was enough to make it really fun still.
Mary has no fear. Just a zest for life. No coats, no gloves, no hat.
But she was out there sledding having a ball.
Lilly was helping her friend up the hill. Far safer than sledding.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Adam!
Thank you for being such a wonderful Dad and husband. We appreciate all the hard work you do for us, the patience you have, and the dedication.
We are so blessed to have you in our lives. This is a very old picture, but the only one I could find of all of us.
I think that needs to change.
This is our Yellow Dog. We miss him so much. He and Adam were each other's saving grace. A literal answer to prayers. He was only part of our family for a very short amount of time, but left such an impact. We love you Yellow Dog.

Recipes

Check out some of our families favorite recipes. I am always looking for new ideas and love to pass them on. I just wish they were all a success with my kids. But unfortunately, their tastes change from day to day and I can't keep up.
Good luck, and let me know if you try something. I would love to know what you think.

A dog and her Kong

A dog and her Kong are never far apart. She woke right up if we moved it.

Meet Season

2 Meets ago Mary and spent the night close to the gym. There was a big group of us parents that decided leaving at 5 in the morning wasn't worth it. So we took over a hotel and had a party. It was so fun. I learned though, it isn't worth it. We had so much fun, but the girls were exhausted. I think next time we will go to bed early, head out early, and party after the meet. We took over an Olive Garden. I should apologize to anyone that was there that evening.
The pictures is kind of blurring. There was something up with my camera that day. None of the other pictures I took worked out. she looked beautiful, but you can see she is tired.
The most recent meet, we had to miss. Mary was running a fever of 101. She was pretty disappointed as her grandfather was here to watch her. Oh well, 3 more to go.
