Random Photos

These are just random photos from our weekend.
Our kids favorite new place to play. They are using the snow sleds to go down the dirt hill. Works really well actually. Our neighbor is working on finishing his backyard. I knew it was big but I didn't know how bug until he started removing dirt. Ours is suppose to be slightly larger so it should be interesting. Where do you take all that dirt? He starts on ours next. We are excited.
Lilly is my kitchen helper. We made chicken fajitas the other night. Very yummy!
Zane had 3 football games this weekend. It was absolutely crazy. ( I then spent 12 hours working at a Bronco's game.)
Zane's mascot.
We are all still recovering from our weekend.

What a way to start a season...

Zane's football team did AWESOME today and won their first game.
He has come so far and I am so proud of him.His jersey wasn't ready today so he had on a practice jersey.

Hopefully it will be ready for the rest of the games.

He is exhausted now.

Family have asking me about his bruises. So here is a very small portion of his arm, front and side. He is looked battled. I asked what the other kids looked like the other day and his only comment was that they don't hit as hard. I would believe after watching him today, ramming kids and throwing them to the ground. Otherwise known as tackling.

Growing Up

We were at the mall today and Lilly said she wanted to get her ears pierced as we walked by Claire's. Figuring she would be just like Mary who took more than 10 trips to before she was ready to get her ears pierced, I went along with it. I forgot how tough Lilly can be and when she sets her mind to something it is a done deal.
I am just glad I had my camera with me. I was scrambling. She sat on Zane's lap listening intently to all the instructions.
She got excited as the put the dots on her ears.
Excited! Doesn't realize what she is in for. Zane backed up in preparation for her screaming. (Which she didn't do by the way)
On the 2nd year and loosing some of the excitement.
See the change in her expression? Ouch a little bit.
All done and a little bit teary. She has yet to let me take a finished picture of them. Maybe tomorrow for WW. But she loves them now. So it was a good experience. So until tomorrow...
My little girl is growing up.

My Zane

Zane
Like a tornado, I am unpredictable.
Like a Pug, I am tired.
Like the color purple, I am soft, but
like the dolor Red, I am destructive.
Like Sloppy Joe's, I am sloppy.
Like an outlet, I am shocking.
Like a hard rock, I am stiff.
Like an old car, I am slow.
Like an unpredictable storm, I am powerful.

Mini Golf

Lilly's and my "hole in one" with our first ball. Lilly thought this was so much fun.
Zane and his amazingly concentration.
Candid picture of Boston. Sometimes that is all I can get of him.
My darling girls enjoying our family night.
Adam helping Lilly hit that perfect ball again. She kept getting frustrated and just picking up the ball and dropping it in the hole. It was just easier.
We take whatever pictures of them together that we can.
Lilly hitting whatever ball she wants. Hers was the purple one.
We went from their to Cracker Barrel for some fried okra. It was a great family night.

He made it!

He is a little battered and bruised.
But he did what he wanted to do.
He made the AFC team.
Here is where he wants to end up playing eventually.
I am so proud of him.
He worked so hard.
