We had a wonderful time visiting the New Draper Temple. It has been many years since I went to an open house and my kids had never been. I think it was a wonderful experience for them and gave them so much to look forward too. Especially Boston who is now old enough to participate in some of the ordinances. It also gave the girls so much to look forward to when they get married. Lilly was absolutely darling though. During our visit we talked about reverence and why we were wearing our church clothes, how the temple is the house of the Lord and you can feel his spirit while you are there. She wanted to know where Jesus sleeps since it is the house of the Lord. You have to love the mind of a 4 year old. I think she really enjoyed it.
It was an absolutely exquisite temple.

We weren't able to get many pictures as they have you arrive at a chapel, watch a video, take a bus up to the temple, get out and
immediately walk through a sidewalk tunnel and the same as you finish up. I had hoped for some family pictures with the temple in the background, but we will have to go after the open house is over.

Lilly wasn't
sure about the bus ride.
This is the best picture I got this year of the girls in their Christmas dresses. Pretty pathetic, but we are always so rushed on our way to church that we ran out of time.
I thought I would post it.
